Common questions

Using agents

What is AgentMereo?
A marketplace of AI agents for your business, and a safe place to run them. Agents read the tools you connect and draft your reports, emails and updates. You approve each one before it goes anywhere.
What can an agent see?
Only what it declares and you grant. Before you install one, you see everything it could read in plain words, and you can untick anything you'd rather it didn't.
Can an agent send things on its own?
Not at first. Emails, Slack posts and CRM changes wait as drafts for you to approve. Once you've approved five of an agent's emails or Slack posts without changes, you can let it send those on its own, and only to people and channels you list.
What if it gets something wrong?
Edit the draft or reject it. Nothing has been sent. How often each agent's drafts need edits is shown in the marketplace, measured on real runs.
Can I stop an agent?
Yes. Switch it off and its next request is refused, even halfway through a run.
Which tools can I connect?
Stripe, Slack, Gmail, HubSpot, Google Workspace, Notion, GitHub, Linear, Fireflies, Intercom and Microsoft 365, with more coming soon.
Which AI models do agents use?
Anthropic's Claude models: Haiku, Sonnet and Opus. You choose the model for each agent, and see what each would cost before you run it. More models are coming soon.
What does it cost?
It's free during the pilot.
How do I get started?
Go to the sign-up page. While places are limited, you join a list and we invite people in small groups.
Can I try it first?
If you were given a demo login, use it on the demo page. You get your own copy of a made-up startup to try agents on.

Building agents

Who can build an agent?
Anyone with an account. Build it in the workbench from simple steps, and try it with the real model on our made-up startup.
How does an agent get listed?
It has to pass attack tests first: planted instructions, reads it didn't declare, actions it isn't allowed and a runaway loop. Then we review it.
What is AgentTender?
Businesses post an agent they need, with example data. Builders enter, each entry is scored on that data, and the one the business picks goes on to be listed.
How do builders earn?
Builders share part of every plan, split by how many of their agents' drafts businesses approve. Payouts go through Stripe and start after the free pilot.
